Women in Boardsports (WIB) is an organization devoted to supporting, educating and inspiring women in the board sports industry, founded by Carmela Fleury and Daniela Meyer to create an opportunity for women in boardsports to network, share resources and inspire each other to progress in work and life.

Every year they held a conference and some of the most inspirational women in boardsports and actionsports, hailing from all over Europe and overseas, gather in Saas-Fee (Switzerland) for a long weekend of networking, learning and sharing. This year the WIB Conference will take place 12th-15th September and Longboard Girls Crew is going to be there!

As speakers, WIB invites some of the most well-respected and influential women of the board & action sports industry. This year the fours speakers are Donna Carpenter, President of Burton SnowboardsIker Aguirre, a boardsports industry veteran; Swedish flow expert Anna Linda Hulström and Longboard Girls Crew Co-Founder Valeria Kechichian. All of us will share our insights and know-hows of our mainly male dominated industry. This year the special conference theme is ‘How to Achieve a Goal’. WIB also highlights the ‘female qualities’ and gives strength and trust to the gender through the seminars and the connections made.
