We’re over the moon to finally introduce you the NEW LGC Board! A board designed specifically for women but that can also be used by men.
It’s a perfect board for beginners, but also for more advanced riders.
Specifications
Length: 99 cm – 38.9 inches
Width: 24 cm – 9.4 inches
Wheelbase: 68 cm – 26.7 inches or 65 cm – 25.5 inches
Concave: 1,3 cm – 0.3 inches
The length & width are perfect for women or men with small sized-feet. The concave is perfect for dancing and freestyling but also for some serious freeriding. It’s a symmetrical board with just the right amount of tale & nose so as said, it’s an extremely versatile board.
The graphic was designed by our good friend and talented artist Álvaro Yuste following some of our specifications. He did such an amazing job and the result is beautiful. Plus, he’s the same artist who did out t-shirt design! Check his rad work out here.
The graphic has tons of elements that we love: world maps, the northern star & compasses, which reflects the worldwide movement Longboard Girls Crew is and how close we all are despite the distance, united by the same values and love for the sport.
The quote “Not Giving In” is very powerful for many reasons. The word “Giving” is in big letters as that’s what we’re all about: Giving, supporting & promoting. But if you look closer to the full caption it’s also about Not Giving In in what we do. When we first started Longboard Girls Crew it was a male-dominated sport. It mostly still is but we keep working to position our role as Women in this and all Action Sports scenes so that quote represents a lot of who we are, our values and what we do.
There’s a small text in the lower part of the board:
“We longboard.
Some of us go fast.
Some of us go sideways.
Some of us compete.
Some of us use it
as transportation
from A to B.
We all skate for fun.
No matter what.
Not giving in”
This quote mostly written by Daisy Johannes and completed by Valeria Kechichian expresses exactly how we live our sport. Freely, having loads of fun and not judging. We hope you skate like that as well!

Valeria Kechichian worked with Ingo from Icone Longboards -who’s one of the best shapers and board makers in the world- on the shape and he did the mold and magic. We can’t thank him enough for his commitment and selfish help towards this board and Longboard Girls Crew in general. LGC loves you & Icone Boards!
Last and not closely least, the LGC Board wouldn’t exist without the extraordinary help from Heiko from Concrete Wave Skateshop in Cologne. This is not only the best skateshop in Europe but also the one who supports the scene and the sport the most. Heiko, we can’t thank you enough.

Estamos encantadas de presentaros la nueva tabla de Longboard Girls Crew (LGC)! Una tabla diseñada específicamente para mujeres pero que también puede ser utilizada por hombres.

Ancho: 24 cm – 9.4 pulgadas

El largo y ancho son perfectos para mujeres u hombres con pie más pequeño. El cóncavo es ideal para dancing y freestyle pera también para freeride. Es una tabla simétrica con el tail y nose justos, creando una tabla muy versátil y polivalente.
El gráfico fue diseñado por nuestro buen amigo y gran artista Álvaro Yuste siguiendo algunas de nuestras especificaciones. Hizo un gran trabajo y el resultado es maravilloso. Sabiais que es el mismo artista que diseño nuestras camisetas? Chequear su trabajo aquí.
La gráfica tiene muchísimos elementos que adoramos: mapas del mundo, la estrella del norte y brújulas, los cuales reflejan el movimiento mundial que es Longboard Girls Crew y lo cerca que estamos todos, a pesar de las distancias, unidos por los mismos valores y el amor al deporte.
La frase “Not Giving In” (Sin Rendirnos) es muy poderosa por muchos motivos. La palabra “Giving” (dar) esta en grande y es mucho de lo que somos: Dar, apoyar y promover. Pero la frase entera también quiere decir que no nos rendimos ni nos damos por vencidas. Cuando empezamos Longboard Girls Crew era un deporte mayoritariamente masculino. En gran parte lo sigue siendo pero seguimos trabajando para posicionar nuestro rol en este y otros deporte de acción así que esa frase también representa lo que somos, nuestros valores y lo que hacemos
Hay un pequeño texto en la parte de debajo de la tabla:
“Patinamos
Algunas vamos rápido.
Algunas derrapamos.
Algunas competimos.
Algunas lo usamos
Como medio de transporte
de A a B.
Todas patinamos por diversión.
Sin excepción.
Sin rendirnos”
